From February 24 to 26, 2025, the Republic of Belarus hosted the official delegation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Cuba. The main purpose of the visit was to launch a mechanism for interaction between the Ministries of the two countries in the field of export and import of medicines, as well as the establishment of a strategic partnership between enterprises and institutions.
As part of the program, on February 24, 2025, the delegation visited the State Pharmaceutical Enterprise “ACADEMPHARM” for the purpose of negotiations. The parties discussed the possibilities of joint projects, including technology exchange, organizing the supply of medicines and conducting scientific research
The meeting resulted in the signing of a memorandum of understanding, which provides for the creation of a working group to implement specific initiatives. The next step will be the visit of Belarusian specialists to the pharmaceutical exhibition in Havana in April 2025.
This visit not only strengthens bilateral relations, but also promotes the development of the international pharmaceutical industry, making an important contribution to global health.
